The Ice Is Getting Thinner

Sorry it's been a while since the last post. No different to usual - I've just been busy!

I have some glorious updates for you all - remember my list of new years resolutions...

• Keep a journal
• Write & record a song
• Learn how to drive manual
• Learn how to cook honey carrots, cheese sauce / white sauce & mushroom sauce
• Learn how to tie a double windsor
• Write down my dreams for a month
• Give up fast food for a month
• Finish the 'Contraption Kid' animation that I started 3 years ago
• Go hang gliding / rock climbing
• Complete Super 8 Challenge

I've now completed all the records listed in bold. So I'm slowly pushing through!

I went to Belle & Joel's wedding on Saturday morning and realised that I would need to tie my own tie up since Samara was in Gawler... so I went straight to google and quickly found a video showing me how to do it. I followed the instructions but quickly realised I wasn't getting the desired results, but I picked up enough of the basics that I decided to ignore the video and attempt it on my own in front of the mirror. And this proved successful - woohoo! I can now officially tie a double windsor knot all by myself!

I also wrote down most of my dreams for a month or so... And looking back at them now, well it's strange because I can't remember remember any of them properly and so all I have to go by is my brief notes, which don't make a whole lot of sense. A few funny examples include a dream about Eden being a kleptomaniac, a dream that I was a character from Lost and was running away through a playground when Fergus and Jordan came running at me along with a crazy kangaroo who attached us, and a dream where Phil & I were returning a canoe to the hire place at moonta and ended up evangelising to the hire guy... or something like that! Dreams are CRAZY!
