Jefferson Aeroplane

Another week, and another item successfully crossed off my almost complete list of New Years Resolutions. I went indoor rock climbing with Brendan on Saturday. It was a hot and sweaty venture indeed, and matters were made worse by my severe hayfever on the day. Rock Climbing was definitely everything I was hoping it to be - it was a lot of fun, and very challenging. We got time to climb about 5 walls each - the best I got was completing a level 13 climb... the highest level at the venue being 20ish or something like that. But if it was "real life" I would have actually "fallen to my death" many times and may not have been so ambitious with my leaps up the wall. In the end it was Brendan who motivated me to complete the climb by saying Samara was waiting to be rescued at the top :P

In other news - I don't know if anyone else has seen the copious amounts of "Aero" advertisements at bus stops? It's just a simple ad for Aero chocolate, but I've been noticing them everywhere I go! And the advertising has been working... I haven't had an Aero bar for years, but as soon as I saw this ad - I wanted one. I just wanted to try it again, to remember what it tastes like. And the more ads I saw, the more I wanted it. So I succumbed to the pressure on Sunday and bought an Aero Chocolate Bar, and while I was forced to eat it all at once by Lawson (another story for another time) - it was good, and very refreshing on a hot Sunday arvo. Well done Aero - your advertisements had done their duty on me.
